My Self-Summary

Back where I'm from, I was personally mentored by one of the best surgeons in the Kingdom of Rondon, who was a baron no less. Eventually, I also ended up serving as a combat medic for a war that just recently ended. As a result, I can't say I've had a lot of time exploring much in the way of hobbies, but I'll be glad to explore that kind of thing with people here. It's certainly much calmer by comparison.
My Future Plans

Difficult to say as we adjust to life in this resort, but right now I'm just interested in getting to know everyone else here and assuring we all have a pleasant time. I assure you, I'd like to see to it you have one.
My Talents

I used to work as a butler, so I have experiencing in mixing some pretty decent cocktails.

As much as I would love make people here a drink, I'd also enjoy showing how good I am with my hands. And, well, everything else, for the record.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and Food

Not much for books honestly; they put me to sleep better than any sedative. But I do like jazz and swing music, mystery films, and I favor beef wellingtons.

[ Midnight sends terribly thorough instructions for the practice rooms he's found in the library — really, the place seems to have everything, it's become something of a second home to him — then sets the whole place up to wait for Daan, rearranging chairs and procuring a table from a neighboring room for drinks. By the time Daan arrives, Midnight's already finished tuning his guitar, so he stops in the middle of some rousing rock practice, slapping his hands over the strings as the door opens. ]

There you are, darling. It's a pleasure to see your lovely face again.

[ Midnight is, of course, perfectly aware that Daan's got a permanently sour expression on. He still means it. ]

[The library is as good as a nap room for Daan, who gets tired even thinking about reading. Fortunately, this isn't about research, just Midnight's musical endeavors.

Rock music is strange to his 1940s vibe, and he arches a brow but doesn't remark further on it.]

Is it now.

[Midnight might mean it, but Daan struggles to believe it.]

I brought some mixers. Any manner of drink you prefer?

[ Midnight tilts his head, hums, and sets the guitar carefully to the side. ]

I'm a creature of novelty, darling. Give me something you like. Surprise me.

[ He also likes to get to know people through what they drink. Not that he's some sort of mixed drink prognostician, but it's a nice thing to know at birthday parties. ]

Hm, if you say so. I suppose I'll make my favorite.

[You know it, you love it: Daan is fixing up a pair of old-fashioneds for them, all with the peel of an orange as garnish. He does take care to offer Midnight's glass to him first.]

[ :'(

We do in fact both know it and love it; Midnight raises an eyebrow, accepts the drink, and gives it a ginger taste before making a pleased noise and taking a larger swig. ]

That... is divine. Are you a doctor with a talent for mixing? I would believe it if it was the other way around.

[There's a faint amused sound from Daan before he has a sip from his glass.]

I wasn't always a doctor. I was a butler before that. Learned how to mix drinks for parties and the guy I was working for. Ended up being pretty good at it.

"Pretty good"... You're underselling yourself. Really, I've had my share of alcohol — much more than most, I should think — but on the strength of this drink alone...

[ Midnight takes another sip, then puts the glass to the light, admiring the lovely proportions, the color. ]

I'd endorse a career change for you, should you have a change of heart on how you'd like to serve this little community of ours.
