Back where I'm from, I was personally mentored by one of the best surgeons in the Kingdom of Rondon, who was a baron no less. Eventually, I also ended up serving as a combat medic for a war that just recently ended. As a result, I can't say I've had a lot of time exploring much in the way of hobbies, but I'll be glad to explore that kind of thing with people here. It's certainly much calmer by comparison.
Difficult to say as we adjust to life in this resort, but right now I'm just interested in getting to know everyone else here and assuring we all have a pleasant time. I assure you, I'd like to see to it you have one.
I used to work as a butler, so I have experiencing in mixing some pretty decent cocktails.
As much as I would love make people here a drink, I'd also enjoy showing how good I am with my hands. And, well, everything else, for the record.
Not much for books honestly; they put me to sleep better than any sedative. But I do like jazz and swing music, mystery films, and I favor beef wellingtons.
I consider myself a flexible man, but I like someone with a quick wit.

[Well. He might as well get this part out of the way. Daan doesn't think it'll be enough to shove Cloud away for his sake, but who knows. Maybe he will be disgusted after all? Shatter that pretty picture Cloud has in his mind about Daan.]
It didn't stop after my parents never came back for me. I was on my own after that until who would become my mentor would find me. So, for two years, I was on my own. Lived on the streets.
I didn't have the talent or gumption to be a thief. I used... the one skill I did have in order to get a single shilling to my name. [Daan shrugs, like it doesn't matter. Like it can't hurt him.] You do what you have to, in order to survive. That's what I'd think to myself.
Suffice it to say, my affinity with Sylvian is deep.

Sorry. Didn't intend to say all that to make it sound like I wouldn't want to do something like that with you again or anything. It's just-- something about having an affinity with Sylvian ensures a number of things. A high drive is one of them. That's... yeah.

Daan doesn't struggle, finding himself comfortably in Cloud's arms and leaning against him, quietly enjoying his strength and the security it brings. Leaning in, he lightly brushes his lips against Cloud's, not quite a kiss. Close enough.]
